Kustvaart Harlingen Marine BV (which translates to "Coastal Shipping Harlingen" in English) is a shipping company founded by four experienced captains: Robin Switynk, Roelof Rientjes, Johan Oomens, and Arno Boere. Today, Roelof Rientjes serves as our company Director.

What makes us unique is our collective background - we were all raised with and on ships. By combining our individual experiences as captain-owners, we now offer a diverse fleet and a highly motivated, skilled crew.

Our modern fleet consists of fourteen vessels, including:

Crude oil tankers ranging from 5000 to 55,000 tons DWT

Cargo vessels for various transport needs.

Ships built to Finnish and Swedish Ice-class 1A standards, capable of navigating the most challenging ice conditions

Kustvaart Harlingen Marine BV (translating to "Coastal Shipping Harlingen" in English) was established by four seasoned captains: Robin Switynk, Roelof Rientjes, Johan Oomens, and Arno Boere. Currently, Roelof Rientjes leads our company as Director.

Our distinctive strength comes from our shared maritime upbringing—each founder was raised in the shipping environment. This deep-rooted connection to the sea has allowed us to unite our capabilities as former captain-owners, creating a comprehensive maritime service with an exceptionally skilled and dedicated crew.
